Susie Jane Kissee Molden, age 94, of Nancy passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Molden was born in Cain Store Community on February 21, 1914 to the late Sylvester & Mary Elizabeth Allen Kissee. She was a homemaker, loved gardening, quilting and was a member of the Pleasant Point Baptist Church for over 18 years. 

Mrs. Molden is survived by 2 sons, Rodney & Winnie M. Molden, Ingle, KY, Raliegh Loyd & Dianna Molden, Attica, IN; a daughter, Deloris & Bucky Rogers, Ingle, KY; 2 sisters, Edith Whitaker, Naples, FL, Clara Auterson, Norwood, OH; 2 grandchildren, Lisa & Glen Mink, Ingle, KY, Debbie & John Whitaker, Lockland, OH; 4 great grandchildren, Ashley & Kenny Terry, Brittany & Jared Watson, Jenillee & Michael Schierloh, Trevor Whitaker and 3 great great grandchildren, Wyatt Whitaker, Hudson Schierloh, and Eliza Schierloh. 

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Jefferson Molden whom she married December 23, 1931 in Ingle, KY; 4 brothers, Woodrow, Herbert, Hollis, and Elmer Kissee; and 5 sisters, Ida Wilson, Gertrude Dick, Jewell Brooks, Doris Burkett, and an infant Mary Deloris Kissee.

Funeral services for Susie Molden will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2008 at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home at 11:00am with Bro Kenneth Hammonds and Bro Ronald Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Point Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 22, 2008 at 5:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Cedar Point Cemetery Fund.
