Mr.
Millard Thomas Cook Jr., age 62 of Burnside, KY passed
away on Friday, August 15, 2008 at the Rockcastle County
Hospital in Mt. Vernon, KY
He
was born on January 22, 1946 in Burnside, KY to the late
Millard Thomas and Clairsey Clemens Cook Sr.. He was a
retired laborer, United States Army veteran, and volunteer
for the Salvation Army. He enjoyed camping and sitting in
his car. He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr.
Cook is survived by two sons, Robert (and Jennifer) Cook
of Burnside, KY and Gary Cook of Somerset; three
daughters, Belinda (and Charles) Leach of Somerset, Wanda
Cook & Jason Alsabrook of Bronston, KY, and Amanda
(and James) Cameron of Bronston, KY; four brothers, James
Lewis Cook of Indiana, Roy Cook, Gary Cook, and Larry
Cook, all of Ohio; two sisters, Anna Mae Cook of
Louisville, KY and Catherine Cook of Ohio; and seven
grandchildren, Joshua Cook, Tierra Cook, Charles Leach,
Wyatt Leach, Christina Cameron, Alexis Cameron, and Dakota
Cook.
Preceding
him in death were his parents and his wife, Christene
Cook, whom he married on March 5, 1968 in Somerset
Visitation
will be Monday, August 18th after 6:00 pm at
the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
Funeral
service will be Tuesday, August 19th at 11:00
am at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro.
Walter Walden officiating. Burial will follow in the
Alexander Chapel Cemetery, Bronston, KY.
