Christopher Michael Johnson, age 15 of Somerset, passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2008 in Somerset.

He was born on March 20, 1993 in Waukegan, IL to Becky Sams Pounders. He was a student and enjoyed camping, fishing, JROTC, and Raiders. He was a member of the Tateville United Baptist Church.

Christopher is survived by his mother and stepfather, Becky Sams Pounders and Jerry Pounders of Somerset; two sisters, Kaitlyn and Kendra Pounders, both of Somerset; grandparents, Joyce & Kenneth Passmore of Burnside, KY and Betty & Bill Moore of Waukegan, IL; great grandfather, Clyde Lowery of Burnside, KY; three aunts, Tina Pounders of Waukegan, IL, Debbie Piwawor of Beech Park, IL, and Kim Gomez of Waukegan, IL; three uncles, Harold Johnson of Zion, IL, David Johnson of Maryland, and Curtis Pounders of Waukegan, IL; and six cousins, David, Shawn, Emily, Michael, Kyle and Michelle.

Preceding him in death was his great grandmother, Letha Lowery.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 19^th after 5:00 pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Highway 80, Somerset, KY.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 20^th at 10:00am at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Shaw and Bro. David Meece officiating. Burial will follow in the Dixie Cemetery, Burnside, KY.
