Jesse Bray, age 100 of Burnside, Kentucky, departed this life on Monday, August 15, 2011 at his residence. 

He was born on July 13, 1911 in Tateville, Kentucky to the late William Luther and Rose Johnson Bray.  He had formerly worked as a loader for Kingsford Charcoal Plant.  He was of the Baptist faith. 

Mr. Bray is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Childers Bray; two brothers, Henry and Luke Bray; and one sister, Odie Lewis. 

Visitation will be on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 11:00-1:30 pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Highway 80, Somerset, Kentucky with a graveside service to follow at 2:00 pm at Grave Hill Cemetery.
