Sheila J. Evans, age 50, of Somerset, KY, departed this life on Thursday, December 15, 2011.

She was born on January 18, 1961 in Rocky Branch, KY to Doris Gregory and the late Elbert Gregory. Mrs. Evans worked in the glass division of the General Electric Plant in Somerset. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

Mrs. Evans is survived by her husband, Garry Evans, whom she married on July 21, 2007 in Berea, KY; her mother, Doris Gregory; a daughter, Nicole Taylor (and Tim) of Somerset; two grandchildren, Abigail Henderson and Sydney Henderson; and three sisters, Connie (and James) Hunt of Somerset, Susie (and Stephen) Ping of Somerset, and Tammy (and Lewis) Thomas of Somerset.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elbert Gregory.

Visitation for Mrs. Evans will be Sunday, December 18^th after 10:00 am at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with her funeral service to follow at 1:00 pm. Bro. Stephen Ping will officiate. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
