Randy Dean White, 58 of Somerset,
departed this life on Sunday, December 25, 2011 at home
with his family by his side.
He was born on December 3, 1953 in
Somerset, KY to the late James Edward and Helen
Warren-White. Randy was a former employee at South
Kentucky R.E.C.C., a self-employed contractor and was a
member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Somerset. Randy
was a member of the Bass Club, enjoyed fishing and coached
and umpired Little League Baseball. Most of all,
Randy enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, as he
greatly loved each of them.
Randy is survived by his wife, Doris
Jean Colyer-White, who he married on September 2, 1972 in
Somerset; two sons, Jason (and Christy Kerr) White of
Somerset and Brandon (and Amanda Creekmore) White of
Somerset; four grandchildren, Baron, Adelyn, Colyer and
Sarah; three brothers, Greg (and Sherry) White of
Somerset, Paul (and Kim) White of Somerset, and
Ricky (and the late Teresa) White of Richmond, KY; and
three sisters, Deronda (and Mike) New of Somerset, Anita
(and Charles) Fitzpatrick of Somerset, and Sandy (and
Lowell) Haney of Somerset. He is also survived by
his mother-in-law, Ruth Colyer and many nieces and
nephews.
Randy was preceded in death by his
parents.
Visitation for Randy will be Tuesday,
December 27 at 5:00 p.m. at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home,
1046 West Highway 80, Somerset.
Funeral service will be held on
Wednesday, December 28 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Lake
Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Pace and Bro.
Ernest Warren officiating. Burial will be in the Clay Hill
Cemetery.
The family requests expressions of
sympathy be made to the Randy Dean White Memorial Fund
and/or Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
