Vivian “Bibby” Eileen Tripp, age 75 of Somerset, departed this life on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

She was born on June 9, 1934 in Cincinnati, OH, the daughter of Simon and Nora Lashley Tripp. She was a retired assembly worker for American Standard in Cincinnati, OH and of the Christian faith. She received comfort and spiritual guidance from Bro. David Bullock and Bro. David Green. Vivian enjoyed bingo and fellowship with her friends at the Beecher House and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by a son, John Paul (and Beth) Tripp of Somerset; two grandchildren, Amanda (and Dr. George) Kargas and Brandon (and Mollie) Cross; and five great grandchildren, Lauren Kargas, Matthew John Kargas, Sara Beth Kargas, Cannon Cross, and Cambri Cross.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Simon and Nora Tripp; five brothers, Charles, Francis, Johnny, Marion, and Clarence Edward Tripp; and two sisters, Maxine Wise and Della Windsor.

Visitation will be on Sunday, February 21^st from 2-4 pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with a “Celebration of Life” service to follow at 4:00 pm. Bro. David Green and Anthony Godbey will officiate. Burial will be in the Arlington Memorial Gardens in Cincinnati, OH.
