"Dad
- You have only been gone to heaven 2 days, we
are missing you so much, we are at peace knowing
you went home to be in the hands of the Lord, we
are at peace knowing you are now in peace as
well. We are very proud to have been given
the time we had with you, there were so many
good times. You were always a very good
provider and took care of everyone in the family
very well. We will miss you telling us
stories about your time in the Army and when you
were growing up. It will be hard to adjust
to not having you with us, but like Mom told
you, we will support each other and be there for
her to try to ease the pain during the holidays
and special events and each and every day.
So please rest in peace, you deserve a
good afterlife. We love you."

"Curt
was a very special person in our lives and we will
cherish his memory always. Wish we could attend
the funeral in person but are unable to at this
time. Will be with the family in thought and
prayer. Aunt Grace please read Psalm 27:1 and John
5:24. This will give you strength when you
need it. I know Curt was this kind of Man and know
he is walking with our Lord Jesus Christ in person
now. Love you Tony & Sandy Winsby"

"we have so many fond memories of curt; he's
been an important part of our lives. ras remembers
all the times he was allowed to tag along on grace
and curt's dates; they often took him to the drive-
in movies. speaking of dates, ras stood me up for
our first date. he had a good reason, however,
because that was the day curt got his teeth knocked
out at the tree company and ras was at the hospital
with him. i remember all the fun we had when andy
and arlena were little---going to the louisville
zoo, all the easter egg hunts, and birthday parties,
etc. (not to mention all the good food grace always
cooked for us!) curt could always get a tv to work.
and he played guitar, but was too shy to play it
much in front of us...he was a sweet man with a soft
spot for kids, and love for his family and his
country. he will be missed here on earth, until we
meet again in heaven. we hate that ras couldn't make
it down to the funeral...we have close to a foot of
snow and withmore tocome tonight."

"Uncle Curt will be missed. Some of
the happiest times of my childhood were spent at
Aunt Grace and Uncle Curt's house. I remember
that he used to call me "Bessie" when I
was little-it was fun to have a special nickname
that no one else called me. My love and
prayers are with you all."

"Aunt Grace, Linda and Family, know that our
thoughts and prayers are with you and that peace has
found him and glorified his body! I am so glad we
were able to have a visit in December and wish we
had been able to be with you all, but will see you
soon! Love You, Donna & Tony"
