Dicky Ray Sears, age 48 of the White Lily community, departed this life on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at his home.

He was born on February 15, 1963 in Somerset, Kentucky to the late John and Ruby Worley Sears. Mr. Sears was a maintenance worker for Oakwood and of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motorcycles and never met a stranger.

Mr. Sears married Glenna Sumner Sears on August 6, 2010 in White Lily, Kentucky and she survives him.

Along with his wife, he is survived by three sons, Cody (and Tiffany) Sears of Somerset, Christopher Sears of Somerset, and Danny Morrow of Science Hill, KY; two stepsons, Michael Bolin of Tateville, KY and Paul Bolin Jr. of Somerset; a stepdaughter, Rhonda Bolin of Somerset; three brothers, Donald Sears (and Marilyn Foster) of Somerset, Ricky Sears (and Patricia Foster) of Somerset, and Johnny Harness (and Stephanie Mayfield) of Bronston, KY; and three grandchildren, Kaylee Sears, Kylie Sears, and Quentin Troxell.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation for Mr. Sears will be Friday, January 27th after 12 noon at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with his funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm. Bro. James Floyd will officiate.
