Russell Wayne Sullivan, age 50 of the Antioch community of Burnside, KY, departed this life on Friday, January 6, 2012 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

He was born on April 11, 1961 in the Antioch community of Burnside to Ruby Nadine Morrow Sullivan Colyer and the late William Silas Sullivan. He had worked for Floyd Casada’s Burnside Chevron and was a member of the Burnside First Baptist Church.

Mr. Sullivan is survived by his mother and stepfather, Ruby and Marvin Colyer of Burnside, KY; a brother, William “Peanut’ Sullivan (and Ruby) of Bronston, KY; a stepbrother, Tim Colyer of Science Hill, KY; a sister, Mary Kathy Loveless (and Lester) of the Antioch community; a stepsister, Sherry Padgett of Georgia; and nephews, Jason and Stephanie Sullivan (and Little Ruby), Andrew Richardson, Austin McFerrin, and Brad Neal.

Along with his father, William Silas Sullivan, he was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara K. Richardson; paternal grandmother, Laura Sullivan; maternal grandparents, Susie and Roy Morrow; and a brother-in-law, Andy Richardson.

Visitation for Mr. Sullivan will be Sunday, January 8^th at 6:00 pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Highway 80, Somerset.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 9^th at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Blake Pinson officiating. Burial will be in the Burnside Cemetery. Pallbearers for Mr. Sullivan will be Lanis Cooper, Teddy Sullivan, Brian Sullivan, Clayton Gibson, Coy Lay, and Nathan Gibson.
