Estelene Hatter, age 60, of Somerset, KY passed away Wednesday, July 01, 2009 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Hatter was born in Pike County on August 5, 1948 to Jessie Coleman Scott, Burnside, KY and the late Estel Scott. She loved writing poems, painting, an avid reader and enjoyed her family, friends and living life.  Mrs. Hatter is of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Hatter is survived by her mother, Jessie Coleman Scott, Burnside, KY; a son, Kirby Kilgore, Burnside, Ky; 4 daughters, Cheryl (& Chris) Arthur, Bethel Ridge, KY, Tiffany Dishon, Science Hill, KY, Alisha Stalker, Somerset, Ky, Krista Stalker, Elkhorn City, KY; 2 brothers, Richard Scott, Prestonsburg, KY, Morris (& Jenny) Scott, Pike County, KY; 4 sisters, Pam Ratliff, Burnside, KY, Sherry (& L.C.) Flynn, Somerset, KY, Kathy Mesaros, Burnside, KY, Janice Chapman, Eubank, KY; 12 grandchildren, Kyle, Hannah, Tony Lee, Jacob, Hailey, Darrian, Shawn, Kelsey, Haley, Devon, Alex, Adrianna and a special friend Pam Ping.

She is preceded in death by her father, Estel Scott.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 3, 2009 at 12 noon in the Memory Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 W Hwy 80, Somerset, KY.

Funeral services for Estelene Hatter will be held on Friday, July 3, 2009 at the Memory Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home at 2:00pm with Bro Dustin York officiating.
