Mr.
Richard H. Merritt, age 49, of Pendleton, KY, passed away
on Thursday, June 19, 2008 in Somerset.
He
was born on November 27, 1958 in the Poplarville community
of Pulaski County to Tifford and Shirley Whitaker Merritt.
He was a line operator for Speaker Corporation of
Eminence, KY. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and music.
Mr.
Merritt is survived by his parents, Tifford and Shirley
Merritt of Paint Lick, KY; a son, Joshua Harlan Merritt of
Lexington, KY; a brother, Kenneth Merritt of Paint Lick,
KY; a nephew, Derrick Merritt of Paint Lick, KY; and a
best friend, Gordon Abney of Brodhead, KY.
Visitation
for Mr. Merritt will be Sunday, June 22nd after
1:00 pm at Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home; funeral
service will follow at 3:00 pm with Bro. J.S. New
officiating.
