Revel Randall, age 91, of Somerset passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at Somerset Nursing and Rehab.

Mr. Randall was born in Shopville, KY on September 5, 1916 to the late Clyde & Etha Jane “Janie” Whitaker Randall. He was a United States Army veteran of WWII, retired self -employed carpenter and member of Pleasant Run Baptist Church.  He enjoyed life, family and his children.

Mr. Randall is survived by his wife, Tessie Quesinberry Randall whom he married on September 7, 1946 in Newport, KY; a daughter, Loretta & Jack Pumphrey, Eubank; a son-in-law, Bill Williams, Science Hill; 4 grandchildren, Kendra Jasper, Renee Phillippi, Vicki Kosky, Becky Jones; and 8 great grandchildren, Jett Phillippi, Jackson Phillippi, Silas Jones, Tyler Jasper, Sarah Jasper, Madeline Kosky, Ella Jo Kosky, Hunter Kosky.

Along with his parents, a daughter, Betty Jo Williams; 3 brothers, Elas Randall, Jay Randall, Sherman Randall; 3 sisters, Stella Mae Chaney, Eva McKinney, Artelia Harper and a son-in-law, Kenneth Bullock, precede him in death.

Funeral services for Revel Randall will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2008 at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home at 11:00am with Bro. Sammy Adkins and Bro. Ron Barnett officiating. Interment will follow in Barnesburg Cemetery with military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post # 38 Honor Guard.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27, 2008 at 6:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
