November 7, 1958 - June 26, 2008

  Mr. Sanford Monroe Vice, age 49, of Somerset, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

He was born on November 7, 1958 in Cynthiana, KY to Anna Marie Sadler Vice and the late Eugene Colliver Vice. He was a sales manager for the Danville Memorial Gardens, Danville, Kentucky and a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church, where he was very involved with their R.U. Program. He was also involved with Somernite Cruise staffing.

Mr. Vice is survived by his mother, Anna Marie Vice of Somerset; two brothers, Robert E. (and Kathy) Vice of Nancy, KY and Robert H. Vice of Coco Beach, FL; two nieces, Vanessa (and Rick) Kuertz of Trenton, OH and Pamela Vice (and Greg) Snider of Lexington, KY; two great nieces, Juliana Kuertz and Maria Kuertz; and a great nephew, Graham Thomas Snider.

Preceding him in death were his father, Eugene Colliver Vice; a daughter, Amy Devone Vice; and a sister, Mary Lou Hurst Garrell.

Visitation for Mr. Vice will be Saturday, June 28th after 10:00 am at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be Saturday, June 28th at 1:00 pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Dr. Harold Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Somerset.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Oak Hill Baptist Church R.U. Program, 2135 Oak Hill Road, Somerset, KY 42503.
