Pauline L. Callarman,
age 104 of Somerset, KY, departed this life on Monday,
March 28, 2011 at Somerset Nursing & Rehabilitation
Center.
She was born on March
16, 1907 in Belmont, KS to the late William Arthur and
Mattie (Bell) VanDolah. Mrs. Callarman was a homemaker and
attended Southern Heights Christian Church, Ferguson
United Methodist Church, and Victory Christian Fellowship.
She was a lifelong member of the Christian Church. She
enjoyed sewing, cooking, quilting, and her family.
Mrs. Callarman is
survived by her sons, Stephen (and Mary Ann) Callarman of
Somerset, KY, Kenneth Callarman of East Peoria, IL,
William (and Eileen) Callarman of Downers Grove, IL, and
Richard (and Ruth Ann) Callarman of Lake Wales, FL;
thirteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren;
ten great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Mattie Raine
of Argonia, KS.
Along with her
parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles
Arthur Callarman, whom she married on August 22, 1925 in
Buffalo, KS; a son & daughter-in-law, Charles Maxwell
& Gloria Callarman; two sisters, Zelma Shaffer and
Naomi Hankins; and a daughter-in-law, Eileen Callerman.
The family of Mrs.
Callarman will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on
Thursday, March 31st at Lake Cumberland Funeral
Home, 1046 West Highway 80, Somerset.
Burial will be in the
Altoona Cemetery in Altoona, KS.
The family request
