Charles E. Sewell, age 77, departed this life on Monday, September 6, 2010 at his residence.

Mr. Sewell was born on February 25, 1933 in Shopville, KY, the son of the late Gifford and Zula Hargis Sewell. He was a retired fork lift operator for the Crane Company in Ferguson, KY. Mr. Sewell was a member of Ferguson Baptist Church for over 40 years and the Somerset Masonic Lodge.

Mr. Sewell is survived by a son, Russell (and Tammy) Sewell of Corbin, KY; a brother, Bill (and Jean) Sewell of Ferguson, KY; two grandchildren, Clayton and Corey Sewell; and a sister-in-law, Barbara Sewell of Ferguson, KY.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Geraldine Braden Sewell, whom he married on December 8, 1956 in Lawrenceburg, IN; and two brothers, Bobby and Louie Sewell.

Visitation for Mr. Sewell will be Thursday, September 9^th at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at 1:30 pm. Bro. Clyde Strunk will officiate. Burial will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery.
