Ida
E. Mize, age 82 of Somerset, Kentucky, departed this life
on Monday, September 26, 2011 at Sunrise Manor Nursing
& Rehabilitation.
She
was born on August 5, 1929 in Somerset, Kentucky to the
late Everett and Lou Vada Goodin Sears. She was a
homemaker. Mrs. Mize was a member of East Somerset
Baptist Church.
She
is survived by a son, Danny (and Cheryl) Mize of Somerset,
KY.
Along
with her parents, she was preceded in death by her
husband, Rex Lee Mize; two sons, Lantis Wayne Mize and
Larry Mize; and three brothers, Hubert Sears and two
brothers who died in infancy.
Visitation
for Ida E. Mize will be Thursday, September 29, 2011 after
6:00 pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Highway
80, Somerset, Kentucky.
Funeral
service will be held on Friday, September 30, 2011 at
11:00 am at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home
with Brother Darvie Fenison officiating. Burial will
be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
The
family request expressions of sympathy be made to the East
Somerset Baptist Church Building Fund.
