Marian Rose Hudson, age 51 of Somerset, Kentucky, departed this life on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

She was born on March 19, 1960 in Somerset, Kentucky to the late W.D. and Havena Ard Hudson.  She was employed at Somerset Monument Company.  Ms. Hudson was of the Baptist faith.  She loved music, dancing and old movies.  Ms. Hudson liked genealogy.  She loved the outdoors.

She is survived by two sisters, Shirley Hudson of Ft. Thomas, KY and Joyce Combs of Somerset, KY; three nephews, Jason Combs of Somerset, KY, Kevin Hudson of Richmond, KY and Keith Hudson of Lexington, KY.  

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James L. Hudson. 

Visitation will be Friday, September 30, 2011 after 10:30 at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 12:30 pm.  Brother David Green will officiate.  Interment will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens. 

The family request expressions of sympathy be made to the Pulaski County Humane Society.
