Brenda L. Branscum, age 48 of Burnside, KY, departed this life on Monday, August 30, 2010 in Wilmore, KY.

She was born on March 14, 1962 in Phoenix, AZ to Carol Larner Woehler and the late Clinton C. Nichols. Ms. Branscum was a home health care worker and attended the Church of the Savior in Nicholasville, KY and Cumberland Church of Christ in Somerset, KY. She loved fishing, crocheting and needlework and enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.

Ms. Branscum is survived by her mother, Carol Nichols Woehler of Burnside, KY; a daughter, Amy Nichols Erb (and Daniel) of Wilmore, KY; three grandchildren, Jasmine Nichols Erb, Corey Jackson, and Brianna Erb; four brothers, Don. E. (and Molly) Nichols of Somerset, KY, Larry (and Fran) Nichols of Danville, KY, Kenneth (and Cheryl) Nichols of Somerset, KY, and Steve (and Yvonne) Nichols of Somerset, KY; three step-sisters, Barbara Smith of Sun City, AZ, Terri Woehler-Campi of Sun City, AZ, Brenda Woehler of Kingsport, TN; a step-son, Tim Woehler of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death was her father, Clinton C. Nichols and stepfather, Robert Woehler.

Visitation for Ms. Branscum will be Friday, September 3^rd at 10:00 am at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with at funeral service to follow at 12 Noon. Bro. Steve Pearson and Bro. Ed Bialon will officiate. Interment will be in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
