Mrs. Mae Aeline McClanahan Marshall, age 82, of Cincinnati , OH , formerly of Somerset , passed away on Friday, August 22, 2008 at the Eastgate Spring Nursing Home in Batavia , OH .

She was born on November 10, 1925 in Cincinnati , OH to the late Jack Lee and Willa Lee KuyKendall McClanahan. She was a retired nurse with Oakwood and a member of the Mt. Carmel Christian Church. She loved working with the mentally handicapped and playing word board games. She was an avid family genealogist and very family oriented.

She is survived by a brother, Thomas (and Mary) McClanahan of Batavia, OH; a sister, Mary Louise Hackett of Frankfort , KY ; two grandchildren, Jamie Marshall of Ferguson , KY and Rob (and Tracy) Marshall of Batavia, OH; two great grandchildren, Rob Marshall Jr. and Marissa Marshall; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Stanley Marshall, whom she married in 1949 in Cincinnati , OH ; a son, James Richard Marshall; three brothers, J.L., Ted, and Paul McClanahan; and a sister, Betty Jean Land

Visitation for Mrs. Marshall will be Wednesday, August 27th after 11:00 am at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Highway 80, Somerset , KY

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 27th at 1:00 pm at the Remembrance Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro Carson Atwood officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens .
