Mr. Terry Rodger Sloan Jr., age 25 of Frazier, KY, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2008 in Bronston, KY due to an automobile accident.

He was born on March 4, 1983 in Somerset, KY to Terry Rodger Sloan Sr. and Nelda Decker. He was a self-employed carpenter and a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church.

Terry is survived by his father, Terry Rodger Sloan Sr. of Frazier, KY; his mother, Nelda Decker of Bronston, KY; two sons, Shawnta Louell Sloan of Bronston, KY and Hayden Jamal Sloan of New Castle, IN; a daughter, Alyssia Nicole Sloan of New Castle, IN; three brothers, Kevin (and Joy) Sloan of Frazier, KY, Michael Sloan of Frazier, KY, and Eric Stigall of Somerset; three sisters, Shasta Hunter of Monticello, KY, Wendy Sloan of South Carolina, and Sierra Tilley of Las Vegas, NV; two nephews, Donta Sloan and Bishop Gastineau; and a niece, Summer Smith.

Visitation for Mr. Sloan will be Wednesday, August 13^th after 5:00 pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 14th at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Fred Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in the Grave Hill Cemetery at Tateville, KY.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Terry Sloan Jr. Children’s Fund c/o Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
